Our Digital Connectivity Readiness Index (DCRI) is helping policymakers make smarter decisions, and with our latest update now available, we’re continuing to push the boundaries of data-driven insights. This impact has earned us a spot as a finalist at the 2025 ScotlandIS Digital Technology Awards.
Our nomination is based on the development of the Digital Connectivity Readiness Index (DCRI), an innovative benchmarking tool that enables local authorities, central governments, and policymakers to make data-driven decisions about digital infrastructure and adoption. By integrating key indicators such as broadband availability, mobile network coverage, digital skills, and affordability, the DCRI has revolutionised how digital readiness is assessed and addressed across the UK and beyond.
Since its launch, the DCRI has delivered tangible impact, helping councils optimise investment strategies, improve digital inclusion, and support economic growth. It has also positioned FarrPoint as a trusted partner in digital connectivity, expanding our market reach and opening new revenue streams both in the UK and internationally.
We are honoured to be recognised alongside other industry leaders driving innovation in data and analytics. The 2025 Digital Technology Awards will take place on 20th March at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow, where winners will be announced.
This week, we have launched our 2025 DCRI update. This latest report provides fresh insights into the evolving digital connectivity landscape and highlights key areas for investment and improvement. By continuing to evolve and enhance our data-driven approach, we remain committed to supporting better digital outcomes for communities across the UK and beyond.
We invite the public sector to get in touch with us and have a conversation about their DCRI scores.
Connectivity is important. It drives business and society, bringing communities and commerce together. That's why we use our insight and experience to connect people and business.
