FarrPoint were appointed by an English Local Authority to develop an Outline Business Case to spend Towns Fund funding on a Digital Infrastructure Project.
This project involved creating a robust evidence-based case for investment, based around ensuring that improved digital connectivity enabled the region to meet its strategic objectives. Subsequently FarrPoint, in collaboration with the client, appraised the costs and benefits of potential options to recommend a preferred way forward for the local authority for investing in digital connectivity to maximise the social, economic and environmental benefits for the area. Then through the Commercial, Financial and Management Cases, FarrPoint established the route for procurement, ensuring that this was affordable and the governance of the project would enable its successful delivery.
