It has been said that 80% of all data contains some location or geographic component. Whether this is true or not, it is clear that the amount of spatial data in organisations is huge, and only increasingly exponentially through new technology and connected devices.
FarrPoint help organisations make sense of spatial data to enable strategic decisions, improved collaboration, and better enagement with stakeholders.
We have a weath of experience and tools to bring to solving new problems, whether it be analysing infrastructure, assets, service availabilty, statistics and demographic data, or enriching this with ever expanding open datasets from the likes of Ordnance Survey and the Local Government Open Data intiative.
Our solutions include creating geospatial models, data processing and analysis workflows, through to interactive mapping solutions including WebGIS. These online portals are quick to setup, intuitive to use and bring immediate benefits to team collaboration and external communication, making information easier to access, view and analyse across multiple devices and platforms.
FarrPoint has significant experience in modelling Next Generation Access (NGA) infrastructure deployments using accurate spatial datasets, spanning multiple fixed and wireless technologies. This work assists with the strategy and planning of connectivity solutions and we currently provide and support interactive maps for a number of Local Authorities in communicating the progress and plans of their Superfast Broadband projects with local residents. This includes Northamptonshire County Council's Superfast Northamptonshire project map: SFN When and Where Map.
